A Short
Story by James Salter
This beautiful
book is the latest in a series of limited editions by distinguished
American authors published by Raven Editions. Earlier publications
include THOSE DAYS by Raymond Carver, BLESSINGS by Andre Dubus,
and MY MOTHER, IN MEMORY by Richard Ford. All of the books from
this publisher are distinguished by exceptional quality and design
(I made them all! - C.J.B.), and the aesthetic beauty of the edition
is perfectly matched with the power and sensuality of James Salter's
prose. BANGKOK shows his command of his subject, human desire, and
this story explores a relationship between the sexes.
"James
Salter is, simply, one of the best writers in this country."
